Janky Tape Echo Full Kit

A DIY tape echo pedal kit. If you want to build a Janky Tape Echo but don't want the hassle of having to find parts yourself, then this is the kit for you!

Please make sure you've taken a look through the build instructions (they load slowly due to lots and lots of images) and are comfortable with what is needed to build one of these pedals. It's not your average DIY pedal build :)

This kit has almost everything you need, including:
-All the 3D printed parts pre-printed (in a choice of colours)
-Cassette heads
-Cassette player
-Reels
-PCBs
-Acrylic window
-All the electronic components (resistors, inductors, caps, pots, headers, jacks etc.)
-Arduino
-All the wiring needed
-Heat set inserts (though not pre-installed)
-Ribbon cable
-All the bolts needed
-Felt contact pads
-Steel rods
-Bearings

You need to add:
-Tools (soldering iron, JST XH crimping tool, etc.) See instructions or Bill of Materials file (in the project download) for full tools list.
-Heat shrink tubing
-Donor cassette tape for making your loops
-Footswitch
-Power supply
 
All the digital files you need for the project are are available from the build instructions. Please check out the Bill Of Materials file for a full listing of all the electronic components you need (supplier links are provided for reference, check out the links in the Bill Of Materials file). It also lists out all the hardware and tools you need for making the enclosure and completing your echo.

These parts are 3D printed, and hence they will look 3D printed. There will be imperfections. We won't sell anything that we don't think is a useable part, but please don't expect the parts to look perfect :)
